This business has brought so many people into my life and I'm forever grateful. Though I may not be able to visit everyone I work with in person, a good old phone call still works and I use this opportunity to connect with my stockists! Why? because I simply want to get to know them. I appreciate their business and I get to highlight them, show you what amazing work they are doing, how they are changing lives and making people look, smell and feel good!
This week I had the opportunity to chat with Jennifer of Field Botanicals, a curated retail store based in Augusta Georgia.

The beauty and Brains behind Field Botanicals. Jennifer recently launched her store and I gotta say she is doing AMAZING!! Like NaturalAnnie Essentials, you'll find that Field Botanicals products are also formulated with blends of plant oils, pure botanical infusions, extracts, and plant based additives. Jennifer started FIELD with the vision to provide affordable skincare products made from plant based ingredients you can pronounce. We were able to squeeze a few minutes from the retail hustle and bustle and touched on a few things below:

What's A Fun Fact About The Store?
The building the store is in was built in 1928 was a family owned Schwinn bicycle and repair store. It remained that until about 6 years ago when it was sold and renovated with the help of historic preservation tax credits. You can still see the ghost of the sign painted on the side exterior wall, we now have a retro Scwinn bicycle in lilac hanging up in the window in deference to the history of the building, seriously, how cool is that!!

Why is it important for you to work with fellow indie brands?
As an indie brand myself, I know how hard it is to market your brand with such a shoestring budget. I love the fact that most of the brands I carry are not available in big box stores or Amazon, where the retail experience is distant and impersonal, so I can offer regional exclusivity and brand knowledge. I’m interested in carrying brands, particularly women owned brands, that offer high quality and efficacy and are cruelty free and vegan, at an affordable price.
